I was glad to join Cumberland County officials and members of our House delegation to formally announce a $200,000 grant that’s been secured for the county. The grant was funded by the Commonwealth’s Local Share Account, with revenue collected as part of Pennsylvania’s Gaming Act, and will be used toward the partial replacement of the main courthouse’s slate roof.

This important project protects and preserves our Cumberland County courthouse, while benefiting taxpayers, residents, and all who conduct business with our row offices and courts. I'm glad to work with the commissioners and collaborate with PA State Rep. Sheryl Delozier, PA State Rep. Barb Gleim, PA State Rep. Thomas Kutz, PA State Rep. Torren Ecker, Rep. Nate Davidson and Senator Dawn Keefer to help secure state funding.

Please join me in congratulating my constituents, 10-year-old Daon Kim and 8-year-old Sion Kim who each won silver medals at the 2025 U.S. National Taekwondo Championships!
They train at JK Taekwondo Academy Lemoyne PA and are working toward their goals of representing the U.S. on the National Team, competing on the world stage.
They're pictured here with two other national medalists from JKTA who are constituents of Senator Dawn Keefer. We were glad to welcome them as our guests this week and recognize their achievements before the #PASenate. I can't wait to see what the future holds for them!
