I had the pleasure of hosting Cumberland County`s own @ms_wheelchair_america Jamie Clendening and her family at the #PACapitol today. I was incredibly proud to share her many accomplishments with my Senate colleagues and explain the impact she`s making across the commonwealth and beyond.
After being crowned Ms. Wheelchair Pennsylvania, Jamie earned the national title based on her advocacy, leadership and achievements. In her new role, she serves as a national spokeswoman and is focused on improving healthcare access.
Jamie is nothing short of an inspiration. She`s always working to educate the public and empower those with disabilities. She`s a regional champion advocate and peer mentor for the Christopher & Dana @reevefoundation and founded "I Can and I Wheel," an online resource and support community.

I had the pleasure of welcoming Jovi Ramsey, the 2026 @GratzFair Queen, to the #PASenate today.
Jovi is an impressive young woman with a bright future ahead of her. Making today’s recognition even more special, I’ve known her parents since before they were married.

The @pafishandboat (PFBC) is once again seeking applicants for grants to support education programs that promote new and renewed interest in fishing and boating in Pennsylvania through the recruitment of new participants, retention of existing participants, and reactivation of former participants – collectively known as "R3."

I enjoyed catching up, touring the station as well as the museum and discussing the need for a new roof. I was glad to help secure funding for the roof replacement project, knowing it will allow the company to remain focused on providing exceptional fire protection and first responder services.
Special thanks to Fire Chief Bryan Coy, not only for his hospitality tonight, but for his leadership, knowledge and service to the Shippensburg Area and beyond.

The fun continues at the @gratzfair! Today’s highlights include catching up with Fair Queen Jovi Ramsey, taking in the phenomenal high school band performances and joining Rep. Scott Perry and PA State Rep. Joe Kerwin for a delicious Lykens Valley Bison burger! 🍔

Thanks to the Pennsylvania Auditor General, Tim DeFoor and his team for providing valuable information to our volunteer fire relief associations! I was glad to welcome them, Pennsylvania Office of the State Fire Commissioner, and representatives from relief associations across the district to Hampden Township Volunteer FD last night. Every presenter shared helpful information and resources that will help enable them to effectively and efficiently manage the state funds they receive, so that they can remain mission focused. Thanks to ALL involved in supporting our incredible volunteer fire companies!

Glad to join PA State Rep. Perry Stambaugh and representatives from Perry County Chapter, NSDAR and @washingtonburgPSSAR for a ceremonial signing of a Constitution Day Proclamation! The proclamation reaffirms our commitment to Constitutional principles.
The Salute to Service ceremony at @cumberlandvalleysd`s high school stadium last Friday night was absolutely incredible!
