HARRISBURG – State Sen. Greg Rothman (R-34) announced the approval of state assistance for improvements to Village Park, located in North Middleton Township, Cumberland County.
The Township will receive $182,410 to install fully accessible restrooms at the park.
“Our parks bring communities together, foster wellness through recreation, and help to cultivate appreciation of our natural resources,” Rothman said. “I am pleased to announce state funding for improvements at Village Park, which will provide for increased use and enjoyment of the existing facilities, including picnic pavilions and athletic fields.”
The funding was awarded by the Commonwealth Financing Authority, an independent agency of the Department of Community and Economic Development, through its Greenways, Trails, and Recreation program.
