Special Guests at the StatehouseIt’s always a joy to host groups at the Capitol and share a little about the history of this grand building and what it’s like to serve in the legislature. This week, I had the honor of meeting with visitors from the U.S. Army War College. I was eager to learn about their varied experiences and backgrounds. Christmas at the CapitolOur magnificent State Capitol building is even more beautiful these days. Please feel free to stop by and see the holiday decor, festive trimmings, and seasonal grandeur! The Christmas tree in the Main Rotunda will be lit daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through January 8. Happy Holidays to You and YoursWarm wishes for a very Merry Christmas filled with joy and laughter. May you and your family enjoy a holiday season that is marked by hope and love. My district office hours may be limited due to the holidays. Please call ahead to be sure my offices are open. Also, PennDOT Driver License Centers will be closed on Dec. 25 for Christmas, and on Jan. 1, 2025 for New Year’s. Customers may still obtain a variety of driver and vehicle products and services online through PennDOT’s Driver and Vehicle Services website. Wishing You a Joyous Festival of LightsOne of the most important holidays in the Jewish faith – Hanukkah – begins on Dec. 25 and lasts for eight days.
